I was grateful to be invited to the Huobi Australia launch party held in Melbourne this week. The event was well attended with a good mix of both tech and business folks, although understandably a few more fintech and business people than your usual crypto event.
Huobi.pro, a popular crypto exchange, has just launched a dedicated Australian exchange at Huobi.com.au. Led by Adrian Harrison, they’re currently supporting 10 fiat trading pairs, rolling out more on a monthly basis, including coin-to-coin trading.
In addition to Adrian Harrison, we also heard from Blockchain Global Founder and COO, Allan Goa, as well as Alex Saunders from Nuggets News, who were there with his team. The event was MC’d by Jon Quidim from The Blockchain Centre.
It was brilliant to see the event set aside some time for a project showcase, which helped a bunch of local projects to get up and showcase their work in front of an important audience.
